Pursuing my Calling

Hi, my name is Keshia,

I moved to South Korea last year to attend the Word of Life Bible Institute on Jeju Island. I attended their Bible Institute to further my understanding of the Bible. I recently graduated on August 7th, 2023, with high honors. I hope to go this year to Word of Life's second-year program in New York. I desire to further my knowledge of the Bible and pursue the calling He has placed in my heart, to return to South Korea to serve Him.

At first, I did not want to attend the second-year program, but during my time in Korea, I realized how much more I have to learn and grow. However, I am unable to pay the full tuition cost. WOLBI New York has blessed me with several scholarships. For the moment, I have one sponsor, my mother. She is a single mother of five and is currently a full-time student as well. Therefore, the support from my mother is limited. I still need to raise 6,500 US dollars out of 21,000 US to finalize my admission. Classes begin on September 8, 2023. Despite it all, I am trusting God and I pray that I will be able to attend their second-year program.

Furthering the second-year program, my goal is to continue in an additional program called CCI, Cross-Cultural Internship. I hope to be able to go back to South Korea and serve as a missionary at the Word of Life Bible Institute on Jeju Island.

The Lord has provided me with an amazing anonymous sponsor that has blessed me with 5,000$ USD. Leaving me with only 4,000$ for my tuition, which is why I now only need 2,100$ Can ($1,547 USD). Please continue to pray and share, as I get ready to leave for second year.
