If you know or have ever encountered Martin, you know that his love and kindness knows no end. He is an incredible pastor, husband, father, son, brother and friend to so many. He is the first to respond in times of crisis and extend a loving and giving hand to those he does and does not know. 

On Thursday, July 23rd, our beloved Martin underwent an emergency surgery to address a severe infection that had developed on his foot. In an unexpected turn of events, doctors determined that the best and safest route of action to take was to amputate the limb.

The last few days have been a lot to process, and yet through it all as a family we have felt God's love and peace so tangibly. We know that Martin has a journey of recovery ahead, but we believe whole-heartedly that God will see him through and he will come out stronger on the other side. 

On behalf of the Quinonez family, we'd like to say thank you to everyone for the love and generosity that has been poured out. Your prayers, texts, calls, comments, etc. have not gone unnoticed.

In addition, we have set up this go-fund me for all of those who have asked how they can monetarily help. The cost of the procedure, medical equipment and follow-up care will add up, but we know that God is in control. If you feel led in your heart to contribute in this manner, any amount is greatly appreciated. May God bless you and multiply it ten-fold.
