Dear Friends and Family,

As you know your brother and friend Alfred suffered a severe stroke on Labor Day. Although he is slowly progressing, we still have a long road ahead of us. On Tuesday, the insurance company will be releasing him from the hospital. This leaves us in a tough situation, as he is still paralyzed on his right side. Neither us nor our home is equipped to properly care for him. At this point we know for sure insurance will not cover a hospital bed or any equipment to help sit or lift him up. We’re asking for your help. Any financial or personal/government references for assistance you can provided to us would be greatly appreciated.
