Help My Family get to Safety!!!

I want to reach out to anyone who can help because you are my biggest hope. For many, WAR in Ukraine is a matter of life or death. I was born in Ukraine, and my family immigrated to the USA as refugees in the 90s. The warmth, love and care that our big family received from family and sponsors is still engraved in my heart. As i heard the news on Wednesday from relatives there, my heart dropped. With heavy hearts, we tried to communicate with our loved ones until communication was found. My heart aches for what is going on. I have many friends and family still in hot zones. Our friends, with their three kids, lived near Kyiv. On February 23, 2022, leaving behind the livelihood they built, they packed whatever they could carry and walked to the border of Ukraine and Poland. Days later, on February 26, they got to safety on the Polish side. My friend is still in shock at everything transpiring; she describes the journey to get to the border, the wait, and the inspections at the border to Poland as a "living hell." Families are torn apart by this WAR and men courageously leave their families behind in hopes of protecting them. Families, including the elderly, women and children, are out in the cold with no essential things like food, water, and warmth. Many are asking me how we can help? Faces wet with tears and hearts full of sorrow, we are creating this gofundme account to aid family and friends still there. Alpha International Ministries, who are at the Poland/Ukrainian border now, will use these funds and get the necessities for all seeking shelter. Although prayer is heartfelt and much appreciated, we ask for your contribution in this great time of need. Thank you so much for everything!
