Dear Family and Friends,

It's with a heavy heart that we are announcing that our beloved mother, Guadalupe Martinez has passed away on January 15, 2022. For those who know her, you knew that she was a fighter. Our mother was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and was a cancer survivor. Unfortunately, this past year she was again diagnosed with cancer. After years of struggle with dementia and other health conditions, she lost the battle. Know that our mother fought till the very end, and heaven truly gained a beautiful angel.

I apologize that I cannot speak more directly on her behalf on the nature of your relationship. I pray that you will remember the good times you had with her as fondly as she would likely remember you. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and brought smiles to the people she loved.

As you can imagine, my family was not prepared for the financial burden that comes with a proper funeral service and burial. My mother's life insurance is not able to cover the whole amount. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support. Our Mother only requested to be placed alongside her granddaughter in the same cemetery, and to accomplish that; we need help.

Familia y Amigos,

Con gran pesar anunciamos que nuestra amada madre Guadalupe Martínez falleció el 15 de enero de 2022. Para aquellos que la conocieron ustandes saben que ella fue una gran luchadora, Ella fue diagnosticadan con cáncer por primera vez en 2010 y sobrevivió el cáncer. Desafortunadamente, este año pasado fue diagnosticada con cáncer de nuevo. Después de años de luchando contra la demencia y otras condiciones de salud, perdió la batalla. Sepan que nuestra madre luchó hasta el final, y el cielo ganó un ángel.

Me disculpo por no poder hablar más directamente en su nombre sobre la naturaleza de su relación. Rezo para que recuerden los buenos momentos que pasaste con ella. Ella era una esposa, madre y abuela amorosa y traía sonrisas a todos.

Como se puede imaginar, mi familia no estaba preparada para la carga financiera que conlleva un funeral y un entierro adecuados. El seguro de vida de mi madre no puede cubrir el monto total. Es por eso que me comunico con todos ustedes con la esperanza de que muestren su apoyo. Nuestra Madre sólo pidió que la colocaran junto a su nieta en el mismo cementerio, y para cumplirlo; necesitamos ayuda.
