In the heart of Las Vegas, while on a vacation and escape from the routine of daily life, the Bansie family stood together waiting to witness the beauty of the Bellagio fountains. Unexpectedly, in that moment of happiness, their lives would be changed forever.

Ian Bansie, a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend to so many, suddenly passed away and has left everyone struggling to comprehend that he is truly gone.

Ian had always been a source of strength for his family and led such a full life. He touched the lives of so many. His love for his wife Suzanne was unwavering and was a proud father to his 14-year-old son Ty, guiding him through the challenges of adolescence while watching his sons Ryan and Julian grow into remarkable adults. Though his physical presence may be gone, a father can only wish that his spirit will live on in the lives of his sons, shaping them into the men they are meant to be.

Suzanne, now a single parent facing life without her partner, is the most selfless and kind person I have had the privilege to call a friend all these years. She is there for anyone who needs help, no questions asked, and her unwavering faith will be a guiding light through her loss. Although money cannot replace love and memories Ian’s family shared with him, any donation no matter the size will allow support to cover funeral expenses, pay bills & provide financial stability, reassuring them that they are not alone in this.

Life is amazing. And then it's awful. And then it's amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it's ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That's just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it's breathtakingly beautiful.
