Hi my name is Brittany and I am trying to raise funds for my fiancé, Brandon. In the course of a week, our entire lives have changed dramatically. On 05/13 Brandon was hospitalized and diagnosed with IGA disease, a rare autoimmune disease that only 3% of people get. This basically means that his kidneys are failing because his immune system is attacking them. Currently they are only operating at 10%. He will need to have a kidney transplant down the road, but right now, the issue is his medical expenses. As of 05/24, we are still in the hospital and he does not have medical insurance. We are currently in the process of trying to get him some sort of coverage in order for him to be discharged so he can get his dialysis chair and appointments started. Anything helps, even if you cant donate , sharing this would definitely help as well. We are not used to asking for help so creating this has been very difficult for us among all the other things, we appreciate any support and kindness we have/will receive.
