Baby Beau
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Beau’s grandma and I’m launching this to hopefully ease the strain and worry for my daughter concerning medical bills that are piling up.
Beau was born at 40 weeks and 1 day gestation, but only weighed 4 lbs 8 oz.
On his first day of life, he began having seizures and was transferred from the local hospital to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Despite the excellent care provided at both the local hospital and CHOP, Beau has been diagnosed with brain damage in both the occipital and basal ganglia regions.
Critically low blood sugar, high blood pressure, high direct bilirubin and being born with a nuchal cord and meconium all have led to where he is today.
There are teams of specialists working very hard to not only save Beau, but to uncover the metabolic cause of his life threatening low blood sugar levels.
It’s been suggested that I reach out and start a fundraiser asking for help, so that a big portion of our worry can be alleviated a little. So here I am, hat in hand doing just that.
We truly appreciate any donation. If you aren’t in a position to donate, please share this and in either case, please please Pray for our little boy.
