Dear brothers and sisters, this past week our brother Keith Wood was rushed to the hospital.
He has since been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. As you know Keith is a kind, joyful, and a source of strength to his friends and family and to all who know him.
He along with his brother Kevin needs our support now more than ever.
Your generous donations will help them with medical bills, transportation, and other expenses.
God bless you and thank you in advance for your generosity. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
Some back story on” The Twins”
They both attended Northwestern High School where they both were on the Varsity Soccer Team.
They both attended the University of Maryland for Computer Science.
They both worked at the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum/Sports Legends from 2005 to 2015 managing the Front line and gift shop.
From 2015 to present they both work at McKenzie Commercial Real Estate as general maintenance and ground supervisors.
Both Keith and Kevin joined the Baltimore Colts' Marching Band in 1987 as members of the Equipment Crew. This was when Baltimore did not have a pro football team but, the band continued to play throughout the nation performing at NFL halftimes as a major promotion tool for Baltimore returning Pro Football to the city.
In 1996, Pro-Football was restored to Baltimore and the Colts' Band became the Marching Ravens with Keith and his brother Kevin becoming the first members of the Marching Ravens Equipment Crew.
Both Keith and Kevin created the Baltimore's Marching Ravens Equipment Crew's motto:
"The Band's The Show, and We Make It Go."
The dedication of the Wood Brothers has gone beyond the call in making the Colts' Band/Marching Ravens a success.
No matter what they were asked to do, no task was too big or little. They were always there for the band, the city of Baltimore and the State of Maryland. Keith and Kevin Wood are respected and beloved by everyone they meet.
