My name is Gloria Ottey, and I am a nurse living in England. I was born in Hanover, Jamaica, and I carry a deep love for the community that shaped me. Now, I feel it is time to give back.
I am currently in the process of building a community clinic in Hanover to provide essential health services free of charge. The clinic will offer:
- Free blood pressure and glucose checks
- Free medical advice and health education
- A food bank available biweekly, with emergency access for those in urgent need
I would also love to do ECG tracings but that would require having an ECG machine. Any donations towards it is highly appreciated.
This initiative is driven by a commitment to support and uplift the health and well-being of local residents who often lack access to basic healthcare.
With your support, we can make this vision a reality. The funds raised will go directly toward the completion of the clinic building, which I aim to finish by December 2026.
