Alaska Mission Trip 2022

Greetings,

I am thrilled and blessed to go on a mission’s trip to Anchorage, Alaska with my church, World Worship Church, and Thirst Missions August 1-5, 2022!

For over 15 years, mission work has been on my heart (since I was a college student!). In my church homes, I’ve served on the greeter’s committee, sang in the choir, and participated in outreach events (feeding the homeless, clothes and food drives, and spreading the gospel in my church neighborhoods).

My desire to reach people beyond my local community continues to grow stronger every year. Hebrews 10:24 says “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,” and Mark 16:15 says “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” These two scriptures exemplify my desire for missions; to show God through love, serving, and spreading his Word.

Churches in Anchorage, AK are in desperate need of support in their community to help people who struggle with poverty, alcohol and drug addictions, and homelessness. The hope is to provide support and a safe haven as these individuals overcome their struggles.

On this mission’s trip, I will serve food to the homeless, assist with neighborhood cleanup and repair, prayer groups, and filling the physical and emotional needs of the Anchorage people.

Two years ago, a Gofundme was created to help me rebuild my life when I lost everything in a house fire. It’s a blessing for me to be able to create this Gofundme to give back to others what was sowed into me.
