Maricela Herrera lived a great life with a beautiful family. She was a caring and giving woman who was always there for others. A loving mother and wife who positively touched the lives of everyone who was fortunate to be around her. Everyone (including myself) was very fortunate to have her in our lives.
She was a strong woman who survived thyroid cancer 26 years ago and fought for many years to be the light for others. Recently Maricela had been diagnosed with brain tumors, lung cancer, and pneumonia. She underwent many rigorous treatments that included radiation. She was able to handle a lot, but this time it was too much. We are deeply saddened for this loss and we really need your help.
Her husband Victor hasn't been working while she's been in the hospital (over 1 month) and the bills have drastically piled up. We are asking for your help in order to not only pay some of the medical expenses, but also with the funeral and memorial expenses. This has taken a major financial toll on Mari's family and we want to try our best to be there for them as they have been there for many others.
