Firefighter Jim Danus, an active volunteer member of Whippany Fire Department since April 2021, an active volunteer member of Florham Park First Aid Squad, and a prior member of Morris Township Fire Department, was critically injured during a training drill on May 6, 2025. Jim sustained serious injuries and is currently still recovering at Morristown Medical Center before moving on to a lengthy rehabilitation.

Jim's wife Tracey, and children, Jacob, Jessica, and Josh, are now left struggling with the burden of managing the household in Jim's absence. Any support you can provide will help alleviate some of the financial strain and unforeseen expenses the family is facing during this difficult time.
