What is the definition of a life well-lived? It isn't the money you've made, the toys you have or the accolades you've received. No, a well-lived life is one surrounded by friends and family--sharing, caring, love, laughter, and generosity.

No one who had the good fortune of knowing our friend and brother Rick "Figgy" Figueroa could deny that his was a life well-lived. He was effortless to love and he loved effortlessly. He truly exemplified the "Aloha Spirit". Sadly, we lost Rick just a few days ago to the beast that is cancer.

None of Rick's family knows I am up to this--and they are a proud bunch--but no doubt Rick's passing is going to take an enormous financial toll on them. I think we can all agree that Figgy was one of the kindest and most generous souls we've ever met. Can we return the generosity and show his family that he has an "ohana" that is bigger than they could imagine? I say we can. Thank you all in advance for anything you can contribute.

We love you, Rick. Gone for now, never forgotten.
