Moylan's to Manila

It has been three years since we have travelled as a family on outreach.

The last few trips have been a tag team effort with Joel flying out to India, China, Vanuatu and Thailand


with teams to facilitate Bible Education and Leadership Seminars for local pastors and community leaders.


Then me, heading out to India to help alongside the Birth Attendant School providing free medical services in maternity hospitals.



All amazing opportunities and trips, but indeed time spent apart. Cue Megacities 2017 to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Can you hear the fireworks and fanfare?! We are going together, all six of us, with Joel's team - those are angel's singing in a six-part harmony in the background- continue reading ;)

Our family will hop on board with the Bible School for the Nations team (insert arrow pointing down) that Joel leads for the month of August in Manila. We have prayed about the outreach as a family and each of our girls have heard from God about coming along. So here we go...!


Now, we have some incredible ongoing supporters whose financial aid makes what we do possible. Thanks guys, you're awesome. Because of you, we already have outreach funds saved up to help cover part of the cost of our trip to Manila.

We have prayed about what fundraisers to organize to help cover the remaining costs of outreach, and this is one of them!


Our goal is to raise funds to cover the costs of each of the girl's plane tickets to Manila - which is approximately $500 per child, totaling $2000. 

I (Sally) will be starting with the 1/2 Marathon (which has a 6:30am.... am..... start time - who made that decision?) and then Joel, Makayla and Bethany will be running the 4k race later in the morning.

Makayla and Bethany will be representing, Makayla and Bethany. Easy enough. Joel will be running on behalf of Hannah, and I will be running on behalf of Evelyn.
