Hi there

For those of you that know me know how much my little guy Mowgli means to me and know his backstory...

For those that don't,

Here's a condensed version..

Many years ago some horrible person had literally thrown him away as a pup..

Some of the fellas that lived in the BRC Men's sober living house took him in and cared for him, he then moved on to the Women's Sober Living House where my journey with him began...

This little guy has been instrumental in so many newly sober folks lives...

Whether you loved him, were annoyed by him, or downright just disliked him at some point (mostly when he stole your underwear). This little guy was always waiting for you when you came "Home".

No judgment

No disapproval

No rules

Just unconditional love every time you walked through that door...

I know that he got me through some really dark days while I was in sober living.. So when the time came when he was forced to "Retire" as the "House Dog" ... The 'Powers that be' reached out and asked if I would give him a forever home.

At first I said absolutely not.. then God intervened, I said yes, and we've been together ever since.. almost 6 years.

Today Mowgli went to the vet after ingesting an entire chicken carcass and his veterinary bill is going to be more than I can handle financially right now.

I struggled in considering setting up a GoFundMe for his vet bills, but with so much encouragement from people that know and love this little dog, I've decided to go ahead and ask for help.

Y'all know I have a lot of trouble doing this. But I'm following suggestion from so many of you, and here it is.

If you'd like to help in any way, even the smallest gesture is more than appreciated, that would be amazing!

Also, I can't thank you enough for all of the support and love you've given today.

I've never experienced the outpouring of love from you guys for this little man.
