Hello everyone,

My name is Rayne, and this fundraiser is for my beloved 5 year old Great Dane Mowgli.

Mowgli has a blockage in his upper intestine and so is having surgery at the emergency vet to have it removed. We are hopeful for a full recovery.

I purchased Mowgli in 2020 to help me process my grief after losing my mother in 2019. He is a friend to everyone he meets - people, children, cats, dogs of all shapes and sizes, and has never hurt a fly. In 2025, he worked alongside me and helped me prepare 20 dogs for new homes in 5 months through my foster journey with SCAAR London by teaching manners, confidence, and "how to dog". Words cannot express how much he means to me and to so many people.

As one can expect, a dog Mowgli's size is not cheap to operate on, I am actively attempting to find work ASAP as I am not currently employed; and every penny extra will be going towards paying off his medical bills. I was so very lucky to be blessed with a miracle and find coverage through various resources to cover most of the surgical costs, but not all.
