Anyone who knows us, knows that Mowgli is a central part of our family and our oldest fur baby. Mowgli was recently diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma, a common cancer for dogs of his breed. This was a devastating shock, as Mowgli’s happy go lucky spirit is still in full stride and his energy is as high as ever. Without any sort of treatment, we will likely lose Mowgli in 1-2 months. After many tears and hours of contemplation, we have decided to proceed with CHOP chemotherapy. This option has been scientifically proven to provide the best prognosis and outcomes for our baby, likely giving him 1-2 more years with his family. Unlike humans, dogs respond well to chemotherapy and rarely have side effects or become ill. This type of treatment would allow Mowgli to continue chasing balls, snuggling his brother, and living his spunky life. We are reaching out and asking for donations to assist in funding his chemotherapy; we are extremely grateful and appreciative for any dollar amount you are able to provide. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting and loving our little family.
