Help Move Treisa’s Studio
Dear Family and Friends,
Danny and I have come to a hard decision, which has been thought about deeply, that he and I are going to go our separate ways. We still care about each other, and remain supportive of each other during this transition. Part of this transition includes my decision to move back to Michigan to be close to my parents, siblings, and extended family. It is not without sadness that this part of my life is coming to a close, but I am trying to remain positive and look forward to the future.
In September, I will be moving my sewing business and all of my equipment from Seattle to Michigan, which is proving to be an expensive feat. I have three industrial sewing machines and a long-arm quilting machine which need to be moved carefully and with appropriate insurance, so after many quotes and deliberation over multiple different logistical scenarios, I decided to go with a company who will load and unload my equipment into containers. This option originally seemed like a "no go" because there are pieces of my quilting machine that are 12' long, and they would not fit into the containers this company uses, so I have opted to ship these pieces separately in order to do a container move! So, as you can see, this is a lot to coordinate, and the final cost will be over $6,000. I look forward to having a fresh start in Michigan, but this is a heavy cost, and I'll also need some time to establish new business there once I arrive and get my studio set up. If you could find it in your heart to pitch in even a few bucks, any help would be much appreciated! I truly appreciate your love and support during this time and transition. And, on the plus side, you don't even have to carry any boxes!
XOXO,
Treisa
