Moving to NY- Bible College

We’re the Ochola family, and we serve as missionaries in Uganda, teaching Farming God’s Way: modern farming techniques and stewardship of nature in order to help locals climb out of poverty and reach self-sufficiency.
We also teach 6th graders in an after-school program; we teach them about identity, the Father Heart of God, puberty, healthy relationships, and sexuality. We want to see young people make smart decisions for their futures from the basis of their incredible worth!
My husband, Moses, has been accepted for a one-year scholarship to Elim Bible Institute & College in Lima, NY!...for this August, a few weeks from now! He will receive training in Bible and Missions, to invest in our current vision and work.
We are hoping to move to NY in 2 weeks. We are in the midst of applying for his student visa (which will hopefully be approved in about a week), and then we’ll be able to book our plane tickets to NY!
Although we have the scholarship, our challenge is: we still need to raise money for our flights (about a week from now) and for settling into a new home in Lima.
