Moving to Midway

Hello friends and family! My name is Rachel Santulli and those of you who know me are well aware I am passionate about the environment. That passion has driven me to look into opportunities that involve working hands on with conservation & environmental research. I am excited to say that I was recently given the opportunity to become a Habitat Restoration Technician on the island of Midway Atoll! Starting in October, I will spend the next year collecting data, restoring natural plants for nesting sea birds, & aid in the elimination of invasive plant species on this remarkable island (among many other things!!). 

This wonderful opportunity has me beyond excited but also shuffling around to get everything together in a short period of time, including finding the funds to make it all possible. So, I am reaching out to all of you, asking for assistance to help make this dream of mine come true. All contributions will be going towards travel expenses, temporary accommodations, necessary equipment, and other necessary preparations prior to my arrival on the island.

I know that finances are tight for many right now so I am grateful for anything anyone may be to contribute, even if that's just sharing my story to others who may be able to help.
