My name is Andrew Rounsville, and I need some help.
Steph (my wife) and I are in the middle of a move to Indiana, a move made necessary by her worsening health. She's been unable to work, so we had been getting by on my minimum wage job. Unfortunately, her health started declining this past spring, and my job has been cutting my hours since June.
Since she needed to get out there to see a doctor she was recommended to, she moved out there first. Currently she's staying with my brother and his family, waiting for her new job to start while I finish packing up our apartment here in New York and pay off our bills and get out of our lease so I can join her as soon as possible.
I've been getting less than 25 hours a week at work, at less than $13/hour, for about a month now. This is keeping me from getting ahead on bills, paying rent on time or saving up for moving expenses. My manager refuses to give me more hours, since I'm planning on moving....which is why I'm asking you guys for help.
I hate asking for help, especially from people I don't know, and even more especially for something so personal. But being so far apart for over a month is hitting us a lot harder than we thought it would. We just want to be together as soon as possible, and any little bit of help is very appreciated and goes a long way!

Hey, y’all! My name is Steph Rounsville. For those of you who don’t know my story, I’ve had half a lifetime of pain and illness due to my immune system dysfunction. Thankfully, I have been blessed with a great number of doctors over the years, and a husband who takes great joy in taking care of me. Just over a month ago, however, I was forced to move to a different part of the country, because the climate in New York was leading to a consistently rapid decline in my health.
Because of my health, my husband has been the only source of income in our household since before we got married. As a result of our lack of substantial income and the urgency of my move, I was forced to leave my husband behind in our hometown of Rochester, NY. My husband and I have been planning for him to join me here in Indiana as soon as humanly possible. But, because his work has been cut short for the last several months, our bills have been piling up and our reunion severely postponed.
Our hope in creating this GoFundMe is to be able to raise enough money to pay our bills, so that Andrew would be able to make the trip to join me here in Indiana. Thankfully I am able to stay with Andrew’s brother and sister-in-law, (and the weather really has caused such an improvement in my health, thank the Lord) but we still have a lot of expenses (rent, both past due and current, transportation costs, food, etc.) that need taken care of back home before we can afford moving costs and finding a place to live here.
