Moving Stephen and Ruth

Hello my name is Daniel, and I created this page for my brother Stephen!
About 8 months ago Stephen went in for some tests because of a couple of occasions he had of blurred speech and difficulty putting words together in a text. The doc discovered 8 tumors in his brain. Further tests revealed the tumors had originated from cancer in his lungs. After considering several avenues of treatment, Stephen and Ruth opted to steer away from conventional radiation and chemo, and instead pursued alternative treatments through nutrition, as well as several other cancer-fighting products. Concurrent with these avenues of natural treatment, they, along with many friends, have been asking God for a supernatural miracle of healing and total restoration.
On a recent trip to North Carolina to visit their kiddos, Stephen had an episode where he had to be rushed to the ER. While there they found the tumors in his brain had grown to 22. Needless to say, this was very discouraging news, but they continued with believing prayer. They were also able to secure an anti-swelling prescription, which helped to ease the pressure exerted on his brain by the tumors. This has enabled Stephen to continue to communicate, which had become increasingly difficult.
During this whole process, Stephen and Ruth have wanted to make a move to North Carolina to be closer to son Danny and daughter-in-law Heidi and their grand kiddos. Rather than be dissuaded by Stephen’s situation, they have continued to make plans the big move. Remarkably, with Ruth’s tenacity, and help from friends and family, they are putting their house on the market this week, and will make the move Monday September 9. God is so good!
Because of having had Hep C in the past, Stephen has been unable to get health insurance. Consequently, all medical expenses for the past 8 months have been out of pocket. This, along with their upcoming move, have presented some significant financial challenges. The move itself will cost about $3,000. Many of us are chipping in to bring this down to a big fat $0. Any help from any of you reading this, would be SO appreciated!
