Moving Out From A Dangerous Environment

I am lost for words... I never would have thought I’d ever have to make a Gofundme for myself or family. I really don’t want to do this but at this point it is for the safety and well-being of not only myself but also my mom. I have also made a YouTube video about this if you want to hear me and see it recorded. Lets begin.

My name is Raymon Dinco, or SHSL Blaze. A lot of you reading this might be familiar with my YouTube content. I’ve been editing and uploading videos for YouTube for about 8 years now. Currently I’m a full time content creator and streamer but I also editor for other streamers and Youtubers as an occupation too. I currently live in Murrieta, California but I am moving to Vista, California soon. 

The reason why I’m making this Gofundme is to help my mom and I move. We have currently signed a lease on an apartment and are in a transition to move fairly soon. My mom is currently going through a separation and divorce with my step-dad. I briefly talked about my home situation on my channel through a community post and also a livestream. My home environment has been extremely tense and dangerous ever since my mom requested a separation from my stepdad. At first things were tough and there was a lot of fighting going on but I would ignore it because normally things would cool off and they would stop and go into their respective rooms. But on March 31st, 2021 that changed... 

My stepdad is known to be very aggressive when he’s drunk. This isn’t our first time having to deal with a domestic dispute when he was drunk. We had one back in 2013 when I was in college that I also had to witness and get in between. Since then my brother and I both moved away and let my mom make her own decisions on what to do with her relationship. Fast forward to a few days ago... I was at home (which I’m never home unless I stream) playing on my PS4. My stepdad came tumbling in the house around 7pm after being out all day. He was drunk... falling up the stairs trying to get his boots off because my mom hates when he wears his boots up stairs. Eventually I hear them yelling and screaming at each other. I then turned my headphones full blast to drown out the sound of the argument. I could hear a lot of back and forth and name calling but that is a typical argument with them.

Suddenly... I hear my mom scream “don’t come near me... NOOOO” immediately after hearing that I jumped up and ran out of my room as fast as I could to see what was happening. I caught a glimpse of my dad trying to grab her and push her into the cabinets we have upstairs. I immediately walked up to him and said “don’t touch my mom” he then turns and says “oh yea?!” And grabs me. So we wrestle for awhile and he throws me into a tall cabinet we have upstairs. I yell at my mom to call 911 and she runs to do it. As she’s on the line with the operator he lets go of me and gets upset. I grabbed my mom and walked her to the room where we are safe and we wait for the police. 

I explained the entire situation with the police with 100% cooperation and they end up booking him and taking him away for the night... Like i said before this isnt the first time we’ve had this happen.

So our move was already scheduled to be on the 1st but the situation was supposed to go way smoother. I’m currently separated from them and waiting for my mom to come to the new apartment. Now the reason I’m asking for money is because we are going to have to basically reset our lives in a way shorter time span then what we had before. Things are going to be hard and we are going to need money for new phones, new car insurance, movers (which we weren’t gonna have to get before), a new storage shed, some new furniture, and other moving expenses. We are basically going to have to break ties with him completely which is including all of the bills and things he paid for. 

Although I work... My mom doesn’t. I can’t support both of us. Which is why I’m here asking you guys for help. If this was just me in this situation I could get by easily but with my mom involved it makes it way harder on me. So anything you guys could contribute would help me and her so much. I really appreciate everyone that is willing to help out and thanks to my friends who told me to do this because I wouldn’t have made a Gofundme if it wasn’t for them. 

I will keep you guys updated here and also on YouTube about how things are going. If we break the $2000 goal anything passed that will be used to help us even further. I just put $2000 because that would cover a good chunk of expenses I need to cover for us. Thank you guys so much. I love you. ❤️
