I tried my luck in Minnesota and wasn't able to hack it. It was one nightmare after another and I am ready to admit defeat and am attempting to get back home to LA. I've pulled all of my savings for the trip and am struggling to get there. During day 2 of my trip, a distracted driver smashed into the back of us while we were braked on a bridge and my car that was being towed behind was completely totaled with no chance at all of being salvaged. This has been a really scary setback, but trying to stay positive. Neither of my animals nor my friend Jim who is helping me travel/drive were hurt in the accident, so I am not going to complain.
