Hi. I have stage 5, end stage renal failure. I am on the transplant list at Tampa General. I have been for a couple years now. I had a donor lined up, for over a year, but then Covid happened and she backed out on me. Since then, I’ve become really sick, needing dialysis 3x/wk. I see several specialists each month, have been on 14 medications throughout this ordeal, and have had approximately 10 surgeries so far this year. All of that cost, at the very least, copayments.
And most of all, it takes precious time away from my family.
These costs, on top of kids and regular bills…..
We all know how they bleed you dry, financially, lol.
My husband works himself to death, so that we can pay our regular bills and we try to cover as much of my medical bills as we can, but he’s only 1 person.
A few weeks ago, my family had to move into a new home, as our landlord of nearly 8 years decided to sell the house we had been living in.
First, last, security, and moving costs totaled about $6000.
ANYTHING at all, would be so greatly appreciated!!!
