Moving from a mold infested rental asap.

Donation protected
(Too long, didn't read version:) we have six days to leave our house, have no money to hire movers and have to sanitize all our belongings from the toxic mold present in our current rental from a slumlord. The rental company is breaking the law.  We moved to a hotel room they said they would pay for when the mold report was hand delivered to them. Now they are saying they will not reimburse us.
While we sort out all of this, we need money for everything from groceries and gas to money for an attorney and help moving.

As our friends know have been stuck in a house run by a slumlord with a leaking roof, ac/heat not working, plumbing issues, high humidity (~75% most days,) throughout the house from the leaks from the roof and the broken AC, and many other issues. They have promised over and over to remediate but we have gotten the run around.

Now there are 10 strains of mold in high concentration, including Stachybotrys, Penicillium/Aspergillus types,  Chaetomium,  ("toxic black molds.")
We followed the law (A.R.S. 33-1324) and served paperwork which allowed them 5 days to fix the problem last Friday. Now they are refusing to do the work and have given us 10 days to remove our spore infected belongings off the property. We were month-to-month because signing a new lease with them seemed insane as we scrambled for money to move, and now we can move with no penalty but they are not giving us the time or resources needed to clean and move our belongings. They have refused to treat our belongings and if we take them to a new environment with the spores in the porous items, the symptoms we are experiencing will continue because we will still be exposed.

We have in writing they would pay for our tiny hotel we are living in with our 2 young daughters (one of whom is immunocompromised and especially susceptible to problems from mold spores and is already showing respiratory symptoms,) since the home is unsafe, but 3 days later they said they won't cover it. They have changed their tune now and are offering to give us a credit toward our get this – zero dollar balance instead of reimburse us for the thousands of dollars we have invested in this little hotel. (My father was kind enough to help us by letting us use his credit card to get the hotel under the expectation that they would pay us back immediately.)

Because of my struggles with physical disabilities and cliff's 1 year old business he started, we have no money at all. The business is doing great and will do well in the future but for right now we are stuck. Not to mention that while we are going through all of this, he is unable to work.

Anyone who knows me knows how hard it is for me to ask for help like this for myself. We need money for food, we need money for moving, gas, driving the girls to and from school, to rent a truck etc. We are asking for help in the form of  bodies willing to do some work lifting, sanitizing and moving furniture, someone safe to drive the girls and watch them at times, and help us keep them safe (times when we need to enter the property.)

Lastly we are absolutely getting an attorney as we followed the law to the letter and are being bullied by these companies. From the one short conversation with an attorney it seems like we have a "slam dunk case" here but we cannot afford to put one on retainer right now.

Thank you for your consideration and helping us in anyway you can. Please share this if you cannot donate we understand not everybody is in a position to give money, obviously we are in that position for our friends right now.
We are also getting the news involved on this and hopefully some combination of friends family and kind strangers will get us through this, the hardest struggle we have faced yet as a family.
