Moving Forward From the Fire
My name is Tiffany Warren. My mother is Fanny Warren.
On January 1st around 1 am, when my mom and I got home about 5 minutes apart from each other, our house was on fire.
I tried so hard to run in and find my fur babies but as soon as I whipped that door open, a wall of smoke nearly knocked me back. I couldn’t get in even though I wanted to more than anything.
When the fire department arrived, they found my mom’s three dogs in her bedroom. They had all passed away from smoke inhalation.
Today, we found my dog Waylon dead as well. My Dachshund Sugar is still missing but of course, we are looking for her body now.
I am absolutely heartbroken. Mom too. We both screamed in just absolute devastation as we watched our home burn with our fur babies inside, unable to get to them.
We now are without a home. Without clothes, shoes, medicine, pictures...we’re really in a huge shock. We appreciate any prayers headed our way.
We are in the process of trying to figure out where we will live. The goal would be to purchase another trailer to place on our land but we are just desperate for a place to call home. We don’t know what tomorrow holds for us. We are not demanding or begging for donations during this time but anything donated will go towards us figuring out if we will be renting a home or potentially purchasing another trailer for our land. We had no insurance and neither of us have savings. Thank you, thank you for all of the kind messages we’ve received and things we lost in the fire. Everything and anything is appreciated.
Once we’ve done our research and found a potential trailer/home/or whatever it is that comes our way, we will withdrawal the money and use it for that. A down payment or maybe even a big payment towards our new home.
Thank you everyone!
