I have lost sleep from thinking about doing this. The bottom line however is that we need help. We need to sell our home. My husband, Fred’s health has declined over the past few months. He can no longer work like he did. He has diabetes, and bouts of vertigo. Fred’s memory has suffered from a lack of oxygen, and dehydration.  He has fallen twice. It is from my love of 30 years and responsibility to him that I find a way out of the stress. I’m rising  to the challenge to say goodbye to our custom built home, my studio, and move to a less stressful situation. 

Fred has worked in marketing and selling structural steel for over 40 years. Even though he still does a wonderful job working as a subcontractor, he can no longer take on large construction jobs. It’s too much. He’ll be 71 in December, and it’s not fair for him to feel that he can’t slow down a bit and enjoy life because of a heavy house note. This is a move for my husband.

As for me, I discovered that I had untapped talent to become a serious artist late in life. I am  now  a professional artist who recognized my potential and ready to take it further. At this writing however, everything I make goes to this house, no savings to speak of. I’d love for Fred and I to travel for my work for a change, and paint my southwest and equestrian oil paintings. I sell my work and stay in commissions, so I am blessed.

We’re  getting ready to put our home on the market, and buy a double wide on large property with the proceeds of the sell of our home. Hopefully, the less stress on both of us will make us breathe easier, and I’ll be able to continue my love for painting my horses.

We need to do some repairs, nothing big, but will help the sell of our home. We also need to be able to move our furniture. These expenses are not a lot, but certainly more than what we have. Anything you will donate will be from the heavens. We really need this help. God Bless you. Debbie
