We are a working mom and disabled adult daughter who are navigating the world together. We've spent the past two years living separately and although there are benefits, it's too expensive and time-consuming to see to both of our needs. At this moment we have a convergence of some urgency to change our situation, and an ideal opportunity of an apartment. My lease isn't quite up yet, and there are the other usual extra expenses of moving/upfront costs. Our goal is to fundraise $5,000 to make this transition as doable as it can be. Friends have offered assistance with our move, and on the other side of the transition our living expenses come down by more than $650/month.
