Movie Wave - upgrade site infrastructure

I have been writing about film music for my website, Movie Wave, for almost 30 years. Unfortunately the costs of hosting it have increased dramatically in recent years - while I have sustained these increases, I need to improve the site infrastructure, in particular by having an SSL certificate to improve security (most browsers will block people from viewing the website unless they go through a multi-stage process to accept the risk of viewing a site without such a certificate).

While many hosting providers offer such a service for free, mine does not, and I cannot justify the expense given the current state of finances, so I am hoping to raise the funds to buy the certificate through this fundraiser.

The basic 12-month cost is approximately $109 / £100. If I were fortunate enough to raise more than this then I could also buy other much-needed upgrades to the infrastructure to allow the site to perform better.
