Movement For Change: 10,000km for Youth in Sport

Last year we met as the 2025 Australian Olympic Change Maker Cohort, this year we have come back together for the Movement For Change initiative.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the life changing power of sport. So we have set a mission to raise $100,000 for disadvantaged children.

Right now, too many young Australians are sidelined due to disadvantage, illness, or lack of accessibility. Our goal? to help change that. Over the next six months, our cohort is stepping up to complete a collective minimum of 10,000 kilometers to raise funds and awareness for disadvantaged youth in sport. $100,000 won’t be easy! we need your help

Every single dollar raised will be equally divided and distributed among three incredible Australian charities that are breaking down barriers in sport for youth: The Indigenous Marathon Foundation, The Sport Access Foundation and The Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation. These three organisations represent some of the most disadvantaged groups in the country when it comes to youth sport.

What We Are Doing

To hit our 10,000km target and raise awareness, our cohort will be:

- Logging kilometers every single day through running, walking, cycling, swimming and rowing

- Hosting local fundraising events in our communities.

- Encouraging schools, clubs, and individuals to get involved via sub fundraising or sharing our story.

How You Can Help
