Move Pochi to Gir (& Car Repair)

Hey! I'm MasterGir and I'm trying to move my girlfriend Pochi up to Maine to come live with me!

Her living situation in Florida has become outright dire for her. She has a fully-torn ACL and has been unable to work most of the year and, on top of no job, she's about to lose her medical coverage. Unfortunately, a lot will have to be left behind. Not only a lot of material things like clothes, furniture, and other personal belongings, but her two cats as well.

However, no money and no medicine make it critical to bring her up to come live with me.

The state of Maine has significantly better health coverage for low-income individuals than Florida, so it's the best option we have.

Our fundraiser is to help cover the cost of transportation, supplies, and cost of living until she can get herself settled in and employed. Any funds above the initial goal will go towards replacing any clothing and furniture that has to be left behind.

This is a whole new chapter in our lives and we appreciate anyone that helps us get it started!

*UPDATE*

My only vehicle has failed state inspection due to worn brake calipers and tie rods which are going to cost me roughly $2500 dollars to get taken care of. I'm already running this fundraiser because I don't have much money, so this literally would drain every dime I own. This makes the fundraising more time sensitive as I won't have my own transportation after the end of the month otherwise.
