Move Oceans for Caleb
Donation protected

Caleb is a fourth grader in our school community who is in need of our help. Caleb was recently found to have a cancerous mass on one of his kidneys and had emergency surgery on March 8th at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. CT scans show that the tumor has spread to his lungs and lymph nodes and he will be receiving radiation treatments following his recovery from surgery. Caleb is cared for by his grandmother and their family is experiencing financial hardship at this time. Last month Caleb's home, in the mobile home park next to the river, was flooded and they lost all of their belongings. They are also currently without a car making transportation to medicat treatments difficult. They are currently living with friends until they can find permanent housing.
Caleb and his grandmother would benefit from housing and financial help to assist with transportation, meals, housing and treatment related expenses. Caleb is a sweet and compassionate boy who loves school, playing with friends, Pokemon and the beach. Please keep Caleb and his family in your thoughts as we work to ensure he knows we’re all cheering for him.
This campaign was established by a friend of the family, Thea Mechtenberg and funds will be directly given to Caleb's grandmother, Jacqui Barkley.
