My disabled mom Aimee has spent eight years trapped in the same place her abuser left her, surrounded by horrible trauma she never had control over.

She’s always given peace to our family, even to my dad who hurt her most. But she’s never had a safe space of her own to heal from her C-PTSD, or from the loss of her sister Colleen to BRCA-1 cancer. My mom really wants to change her last name to Lee in her sister’s honor.

All she wants is a chance to move somewhere safe. To change her name and finally live free from the trauma that's surrounded her for years.

My mom and I are raising $5,000 to help her relocate to a new safe apartment, cover deposits, replace old furniture, and move her two emotional support pets as soon as possible. Every donation and share helps give my mom the hope that she can finally heal from her C-PTSD.
