Help a queer and her cats escape abuse!

It's all in the title, but hello! I'm Gabriel, a transmasc Latino artist that's in need to flee from my abusive mother and taking my girls with me, to live somewhere I won't be threatened with physical harm regularly over the smallest mistakes. Day in and day out I'm met with screaming matches, being berated and treated like trash, and blatant transphobia. Living under these conditions has led to the downward spiral of my mental, emotional, and physical health.

I have until the end of October to make moving out of here happen- this is urgent!

EDIT: Due to some last-minute change of plans, I will no longer be able to move with my partner in Chicago. HOWEVER! THIS MEANS I NEED TO MAKE MORE MONEY TO AFFORD AN APARTMENT ALL ON MY OWN!

We have no central cooling here. That's bad enough in most states, but near impossible to deal with here in Texas, doubly so with this heatwave we're experiencing. The stress of this environment makes me weak and physically sick, it's draining. The heat here has caused the development of a chronic, painful skin condition that's only further exacerbated by the heat and sun. It's been beyond difficult for years to get owed art done in a timely manner when I'm constantly at a battle with my mother and tiptoeing around just to not have to deal with more verbal abuse on top of having to wait til nightfall to get work done- when the weather has cooled and when my mother is asleep. She's threatened to hit my cats before and HAS hit one of my girls with a broom and laughed about it.

The move may very well be still within my city if I'm not able to find anywhere out of state (or find friends in Austin to move in with). Everything here is to pay for a rental truck for my belongings, pay my grandpa fairly for driving me and my things to a new place, and to give myself a cushion to fall back on while I go about job hunting. I only have 3k to my name, that's not enough for more than 2 months of rent, bills, and necessities. I only make $433 a month from art, it really isn't enough to sustain myself, and apartments here are by no means cheap. If needed, I may have to bump the goal by another 5k later down the road, I'll keep this place updated if I do!

Any little bit means the world to me, and I can't thank you guys enough for having gotten me through so much in the past, so I'm asking again for help because I believe that we can get through this!
