Move Lori and Lolita from Unsafe Home

Hello, good people. I’m here asking for much-needed emergency assistance for my good friend Lori Hughes and her mother, Lolita. Their home is literally falling down on them and has become dangerous and uninhabitable. Lori is a full-time caregiver for her mom, who is widowed, a retired educator and has been very sick for a long time involving lengthy hospital stays. Lori also has some serious health issues and she deals with untreated chronic pain.

Insurance will not cover the damage, which was caused by wild animals, (squirrels and raccoons) and the cost of repair would be impossible for them. Rain comes into the house and mold has developed creating health issues for both mother and daughter.

They need to move into an apartment for all of these reasons and will need to hire movers, pay security deposits, and first and last months' rent.
