Help with moving expenses.

Hello world...These are my parents having thanksgiving dinner in the home they have known for close to 20 yrs and now they must leave by Oct 21of this year.

They are loosing their apartment when they were let go of there job, as superintendents, in the same building where they live and were given notice this June (2022) . 

Both of my parents are on fixed income and since my father was the Super of the building they lived in they did not have to pay rent. Time is running out and I have tried to find financial resources from NYC for seniors but  it is closed or not available to them.

I have tried low income housing and it's  proving difficult to nonexistant right now.

Time is running out I have tried on my own with family even my own to find some place to accomadate them but it is not available at this time. 

They, like many seniors today find themselves in a financial hardship they are not used to and no where to go and no options but a shelter or rooming with strangers. 

They are hard working still at 80 plus years of age.

They are always giving to others and to be able to be helped for once will really be a God send. 

I hope that someone can help us with this unexpected event in there life.

I know times are hard for everyone, many are hurting, but I'm really not sure what else to do.

I'm asking for anything your able to give or any solid lead or offer of an apartment 1 to 2 bedroom for rent and available to move in on or befor Oct 21, 2022.

Or any lawyers that can give consult with their situation.

At this time anything is of agreat help and even more so greatly appriciated.

The plan is to get their items in storage and a temporary place while finances are in order.
