Move from Apartment Destroyed by Tornado

Hello, my name is Patrick Lamont Jr. I’m a growing Actor here in Atlanta . I also run my own business, Bookings on Bookings, a self taping service that helps actors book roles for Tv/Film productions. I’ve run my business out of my apartment for the last 4 years. I started in 2019.

I’ve Been in my apartment now for about 9 years.

January 12,2023 a Tornado came through the city of Atlanta and a neighbors Tree snapped and fell on top of my apartment, destroying my studio room as I was taping a client . Since then I’ve contacted my management company about the tree and my damaged room and they have done nothing to assist me to remove the tree or fix the roof.

Since then we’ve got tons of Rain in the city and the roof is now fall apart even more. My carpet is soaked, there’s a slight mildew smell in the apartment and NO ONE has even come to check on anything.

I contacted code enforcement and they labeled the apartment as unfit and unsafe for live-able conditions, so I might have to move.

I don’t have family here, and right now money is very tight , work has been slower.

I’ve been in this apartment for years and I really do not want to move. I would appreciate any donations that can assist me in getting this tree removed and ceiling fixed, but ultimately if I have to move I would appreciate anything to help with this new found journey.
