G’day everyone, Rods Family here!!

Unfortunately, Our dad has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. Over the past few months, he’s been fighting through chemo and radiation while still doing everything he could to keep the mining operation running and continue bringing you all those beautiful gems you know and love.

however the reality is, the treatments have taken a heavy toll on him. Between the constant travel to and from the hospital — over an hour each way — medical expenses, and the physical strain of treatment, it’s becoming impossible for him to keep carrying everything on his shoulders alone.

Anyone who knows Dad knows he’s a proud, hardworking man who would never ask for help himself. The Bushmen dream has always been built on hard work, determination, and a love for the outback lifestyle. But right now, he needs a hand to get through the toughest fight of his life.

So I’m asking on his behalf.

If you’re in a position to help, any donation — big or small — will go directly toward helping cover medical costs, hospital travel, and supporting Dad while he undergoes treatment and prepares for a major operation that’s ahead of him.
