Move a Trans Child out of Texas to Safety
Donation protected
We are raising funds to help move a trans child, "B", from their mother's home in Texas to their father's home in a safe state. Because we believe in living authentically, "B" is very much 'out' and visible in our community and school, and we fear repercussions resulting from the new Anti-Trans legislation here in Texas. Additionally, there is concern about the effect that closeting or living with the fear of being reported will have on "B" mentally and emotionally.

We hope to effectively navigate the court system to transfer custody, move "B" physically to their father, and ship "B"s belongings to the new state. Unfortunately, those things are expensive and difficult to pull off quickly.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are not directly including the name of the child. Breaking up such a happy family is horrible, but "B" is one of the lucky trans kids who has the option of moving to safety with another part of their family who loves them equally and is prepared to care and provide for them.
