Move a mother and child to safety

Almost everyone has been in a position where they are helpless and searching for answers how to get out of the predicament or situation. Often, events steamroll and put us into a spot where we don't know a way out. Whether it's money, moving, or impending danger, it is difficult for some to reach out and ask for help. Especially self sufficient people who encounter the worst in people they thought they could trust.

When your world gets completely upended and the future you anticipated and worked towards implodes in a horrific situation that will only exacerbate by the day, you have to get assistance.

This particular set of circumstances is happening to my friend Sina. She and her seven year old son are currently stranded in an apartment with a broken vehicle with several looming threats. She escaped an abusive relationship, but is unable to escape the apartment that her ex's best friend owns. She has a safe haven to relocate and minimize the stress to her son. She just needs funds to fix the vehicle, move and cover the first months rent. To add to the strain, she is experiencing all this hardship four months pregnant.

You may know Sina too. She is a massive vinyl and punk rock fan, particularly the Descendents. I've known her for a couple years but have yet to meet in person. I've been in similar situations and having caring friends made all the difference. Punk rock saved my life essentially, so why not let it better the life of an awesome person who is in an absolutely awful situation too.
