MOUV’ On The Road : un nouveau chapitre commence

Comme vous le savez peut-être, nous préparons un grand départ avec MOUV’ On The Road.

Avant de partir, nous avons envie de partager cette nouvelle étape avec celles et ceux qui nous suivent, nous encouragent et ont fait grandir MOUV’ avec nous depuis le début.

Et pour continuer à faire vivre cette aventure, nous avons besoin de vous.

Nous invitons celles et ceux qui le souhaitent à soutenir concrètement cette nouvelle étape du projet.

LE PROJET

MOUV’ est un cinéma itinérant né à Forest (Bruxelles). Depuis quatre ans, nous organisons des projections dans des lieux du quotidien avec les habitants, les familles, les jeunes, les partenaires locaux et la communauté MOUV’.

Avec MOUV’ On The Road, nous poursuivons cette démarche à l’international, en famille, à travers plusieurs territoires. Plus qu’un voyage, il s’agit d’une année de rencontres, de projections, d’ateliers et d’expérimentations autour du cinéma comme outil de dialogue, de transmission et de participation.

Notre itinéraire s’articulera autour de quatre grandes étapes :

• Telavi (Géorgie), où nous travaillerons autour du cinéma comme outil de dialogue entre générations, de rencontre avec les habitants et de valorisation des récits locaux.

• Cần Thơ (Vietnam), où nous développerons des ateliers et des projections avec plusieurs écoles vietnamiennes, en lien avec Filem’On ainsi qu’avec des écoles belges et françaises, autour de l’éducation à l’image, de l’ouverture interculturelle et de la participation active des enfants.

• Papeete (Tahiti – Polynésie française), où nous explorerons avec CINEMOUVTEENS les liens entre cinéma, jeunesse, identité insulaire et transmission culturelle.

• Recife (Brésil), notre pays de cœur, où nous poursuivrons un travail autour du cinéma, de l’espace urbain, du corps et de l’engagement communautaire, en collaboration avec des étudiant·es et chercheur·euses de l’Université d’Anvers et d’universités locales.

Nous nous rendrons également à Tokyo afin de présenter l’expérience des Jolikino Kids Awards, un projet qui permet à des enfants de devenir jurés, programmateurs et ambassadeurs du cinéma.

Le voyage nous mènera aussi en Chine, en Australie, en Nouvelle-Zélande et pour un court passage en Jamaïque. Ces étapes seront autant d’occasions de découvrir d’autres initiatives culturelles, éducatives et communautaires.

C’est aussi un projet familial : Louiza et Zaki y participeront comme jeunes ambassadeurs de MOUV’. Leur regard, leurs échanges et leurs découvertes feront pleinement partie du projet.

Violène Verduron, amie proche et partenaire du projet, nous accompagne sur l’étape vietnamienne avec son fils Charlie. Forte de son expérience dans le réseau culturel français à l’étranger, elle contribuera au développement de partenariats locaux via l’Institut français et l’Ambassade de France, ainsi qu’aux liens avec les écoles et institutions sur place.

OBJECTIF

Nous espérons réunir 6.000 € afin de soutenir une partie des frais du projet.

Ce montant permettra notamment de rémunérer ponctuellement des bénévoles, artistes et artisans locaux, de soutenir l’organisation des projections, ateliers et rencontres, ainsi que de financer quelques nuits d’hôtel afin de préserver des temps de repos pendant cette année de voyage.

MOUV’ On The Road: a new chapter begins

As you may know, we are preparing for a major departure with MOUV’ On The Road.

Before we leave, we would like to share this new chapter with all those who follow us, support us and have helped MOUV’ grow from the very beginning.

And to keep this adventure moving forward, we need your support.

We warmly invite anyone who wishes to support this new stage of the project in a concrete way.

THE PROJECT

MOUV’ is a travelling cinema born in Forest/Vorst, Brussels. For the past four years, we have organised screenings in everyday places together with residents, families, young people, local partners and the MOUV’ community.

With MOUV’ On The Road, we are continuing this approach internationally, as a family, across several territories. More than a journey, it is a year of encounters, screenings, workshops and experiments exploring cinema as a tool for dialogue, participation and cultural transmission.

Our itinerary is built around four main project stages:

• Telavi (Georgia), where we will explore cinema as a tool for dialogue between generations, encounters with local communities and the sharing of local stories.

• Cần Thơ (Vietnam), where we will develop workshops and screenings with several Vietnamese schools, in collaboration with Filem’On and partner schools in Belgium and France, focusing on film education, intercultural exchange and children's participation.

• Papeete (Tahiti – French Polynesia), where, together with CINEMOUVTEENS, we will explore the connections between cinema, youth, island identity and cultural transmission.

• Recife (Brazil), our country of the heart, where we will continue work around cinema, urban space, the body and community engagement, in collaboration with students and researchers from the University of Antwerp and local universities.

We will also travel to Tokyo to present the Jolikino Kids Awards, a project that enables children to become jurors, programmers and ambassadors for cinema.

Along the way, we will also visit China, Australia, New Zealand and make a short stop in Jamaica. These stages will provide opportunities to discover inspiring cultural, educational and community initiatives.

MOUV’ On The Road is also a family adventure. The children's perspective, curiosity and encounters will be an integral part of the journey. Louiza and Zaki will take part as young ambassadors of MOUV’.

Violène Verduron, a close friend and project partner, will join us during the Vietnam stage with her son Charlie. Drawing on her experience within the French cultural network abroad, she will contribute to the development of local partnerships through the Institut français and the French Embassy, as well as connections with schools and institutions on the ground.

GOAL

We hope to raise €6,000 to support part of the project costs.

This amount will help compensate local volunteers, artists and craftspeople, support the organisation of screenings, workshops and encounters, and cover a few hotel stays to preserve moments of rest throughout this year-long journey.

MOUV’ On The Road: een nieuw hoofdstuk begint

Zoals jullie misschien weten, bereiden we een groot vertrek voor met MOUV’ On The Road.

Voor we vertrekken willen we deze nieuwe stap graag delen met iedereen die ons volgt, ons aanmoedigt en MOUV’ sinds het begin mee heeft helpen groeien.

En om dit avontuur verder mogelijk te maken, hebben we jullie hulp nodig.

We nodigen iedereen die dat wil uit om deze nieuwe fase van het project concreet te ondersteunen.

HET PROJECT

MOUV’ is een rondreizende cinema ontstaan in Vorst (Brussel). Al vier jaar organiseren we filmvertoningen op alledaagse plekken, samen met bewoners, families, jongeren, lokale partners en de MOUV’-gemeenschap.

Met MOUV’ On The Road zetten we deze aanpak internationaal verder, als gezin en in verschillende regio’s. Meer dan een reis wordt het een jaar vol ontmoetingen, filmvertoningen, workshops en experimenten rond cinema als instrument voor dialoog, overdracht en participatie.

Ons traject zal opgebouwd zijn rond vier grote projectetappes:

• Telavi (Georgië), waar we cinema willen inzetten als middel voor dialoog tussen generaties, ontmoetingen met bewoners en het delen van lokale verhalen.

• Cần Thơ (Vietnam), waar we workshops en filmvertoningen zullen organiseren met verschillende Vietnamese scholen, in samenwerking met Filem’On en partnerscholen uit België en Frankrijk, rond filmeducatie, interculturele uitwisseling en actieve participatie van kinderen.

• Papeete (Tahiti – Frans-Polynesië), waar we samen met CINEMOUVTEENS de verbanden onderzoeken tussen cinema, jongeren, eilandidentiteit en culturele overdracht.

• Recife (Brazilië), ons land van het hart, waar we verder werken rond cinema, stedelijke ruimte, het lichaam en gemeenschapsengagement, samen met studenten en onderzoekers van de Universiteit Antwerpen en lokale universiteiten.

We reizen ook naar Tokio om de ervaring van de Jolikino Kids Awards voor te stellen, een project waarbij kinderen jurylid, programmator en ambassadeur van cinema worden.

Onderweg trekken we ook door China, Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland, met een korte tussenstop in Jamaica. Deze bestemmingen bieden ons de kans om inspirerende culturele, educatieve en maatschappelijke initiatieven te ontdekken.

MOUV’ On The Road is ook een familieavontuur. De blik, nieuwsgierigheid en ontmoetingen van de kinderen zullen mee deel uitmaken van de reis. Louiza en Zaki nemen deel als jonge ambassadeurs van MOUV’.

Violène Verduron, een goede vriendin en partner van het project, zal ons tijdens de Vietnamese etappe vergezellen met haar zoon Charlie. Dankzij haar ervaring binnen het Franse culturele netwerk zal zij bijdragen aan lokale partnerschappen via het Institut français en de Franse ambassade, evenals aan contacten met scholen en instellingen ter plaatse.

DOEL

We hopen € 6.000 in te zamelen om een deel van de projectkosten te dekken.

Dit bedrag zal onder meer helpen om lokale vrijwilligers, kunstenaars en ambachtslieden te vergoeden, vertoningen, workshops en ontmoetingen te organiseren en enkele hotelovernachtingen te financieren zodat er voldoende rustmomenten zijn tijdens deze bijzondere reis.
