Donate to Mouse's Medical Fund

Hi, My name is Hollie. This past Sunday evening, our sweet boy Mouse escaped from our house. He is an indoor cat who must have snuck out when the door was open. We did not know he was gone until we heard him in the garage meowing loudly. We looked and found him under our camper, and he was scared and bleeding. We scooped him up and rushed him to the vet. We later found out he was most likely hit by a car. Fortunately, his body-heart and lungs are ok, but unfortunately, his face and head are not. His jawbone is broken with most trauma to the right side of his face, including his eye. The initial vet stabilized him and put in a feeding tube since he cannot eat by mouth at this time.

Wednesday, we transported him to a vet surgery center here in Las Vegas, where he will get reconstruction surgery to help fix his face. It will be a long recovery, but the main thing is that he is alive! We adopted Mouse and his sister Rocket seven years ago, and they have a special place in our hearts. The doctors are optimistic he will recover fully after surgery and the healing process. Mouse is a giant marshmallow who loves to climb on our laps and give love to anyone that will give him attention. Anything you could donate to help our sweet boy with surgery and recovery costs would be appreciated. I will post after surgery to update everyone on Mouse's progress. If there are any excess funds remaining after the vet bills have been covered, the remainder will be given to local shelters. Thank you all!!
