Support Moura Sheron's battle against Brain Cancer:

Former Matoaka campers Zoe Weitzner, Tara Rhodes, Ally Sims, and Gillian Maier are organizing this GoFundMe to support their dear friend Jenna Sheron’s family.

Moura Sheron (mother of Hannah, Jenna, and Mollye) was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a fast-growing and aggressive brain cancer in March 2023. Following a complicated surgery to remove multiple tumors, Moura completed 6 weeks of radiation and is now undergoing chemotherapy and experimental immunotherapy.

The Sheron family has faced several challenges over the past few years, including the loss of their husband/father, Scott, in 2016. Moura’s strength, love, and compassion have been the glue holding the family together. If you know Moura, you know the world is a better place because of her. Moura is the person that always puts others first and goes above and beyond for family, friends, and anyone that crosses her path.

Besides love and prayers for the Sheron family, this is a way to help Moura and her girls during this time. We are asking you to help Moura in this fight for her life. Given her ongoing treatment, Moura is currently unable to work and the Sheron girls fear the loss of their family’s health insurance and their mounting expenses.
