Mountview CertHE Foundation Year Funding, Daisy Garbutt

Since I can remember I’ve dreamt of being on the stage. As soon as I could walk and talk I wanted sing on stage: when I played my first role, and the curtain came up, I knew that was what I’d always wanted to do. Since I was first aware of drama school I knew I wanted to go to Mountview, but it always felt like just a dream rather than an actual possibility; Mountview is currently in the top three drama schools in the UK, with thousands applying for only around 40 available places each year. However, a month go I was placed on the reserve list for their London Foundation CertHE Musical Theatre course, and I’ve found out today that I’ve been offered a place! This is incredible news - I’ve worked so hard and I finally have a chance to study at my dream drama school. However…

I’ll be given £6000 student loan funding toward my £11000 course, but that leaves me needing to find £5000 (£3500 of it being needed this week !!) in a very short time. Therefore, any help towards this would be massively appreciated; I’ll be doing some fundraisers and as much as I can on the side to raise the money, but any help you can offer to get me towards achieving my dream - whether that’s by giving or sharing - would be hugely appreciated
