Amantika is part of an incredibly unique indigenous kind. The Burusho People have been isolated for centuries, cut off from the rest of the world in a Himalayan Range known as the Karakoram Mountains. With such a remote life, progressing can be hard for Himalayan communities, which is why the youth have a strong focus on education. Through working tirelessly, my sister has landed herself an opportunity to study abroad!
However, expenses are an issue, which is where we would need your support. A semester abroad would open up further opportunities for Amantika allowing her to support herself and her family.
Any help would be much appreciated, and we look forward to sharing her journey with you!
