Help six students at Mountain View High School raise funds for our cultural exchange to Iwata, Japan! Through this program, students in the MVLA School District have the opportunity to visit our sister city in Japan, allowing us to immerse ourselves in another culture, foster friendships with students around the world, and develop the longstanding ties that exist between our two cities. Since 1976, the MVSC student exchange program has made it possible for students from all socioeconomic backgrounds to take part in this cultural exchange by relying primarily on fundraising to finance the trip. Therefore, the participation of only students who are genuinely committed to deepening the understanding between Mountain View and Iwata is ensured. Furthermore, a group of six students from Japan will come to stay in California for ~10 days, getting a glimpse of American culture and lifestyle. We aim to earn enough money to cover travel costs as well as activities in California for our exchange students!
