Mountain Mavericks Three Peaks Challenge
RNLI Volunteers, family and friends are joining together to complete the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
As a group of like minded individuals, we strongly respect the work carried out by the Air Ambulance Crews and want to support the excellent work they do. At any time, any place the Air Ambulance can mean the difference between life and death for you or your loved ones!
More information about Devon Air Ambulance Trust: Devon Air Ambulance is the charitable trust which raises the funds to keep two emergency Air Ambulances flying up to 17 hours a day, in the county of Devon. We are proud of our independence from Government funding. It currently costs 5.5 million pounds a year to fund our service. This comes from many different sources including a weekly Lottery, charity shops, community fundraising, donations, business support and legacies.
