Mountain Accident that ended in the Hospital.

Hello Friends! On January 8th 2019 Zac Smith went for a bike ride in Ute Valley Park, It was a normal ride that he had done hundreds of times before, but this time when rounding a corner there was a large ice patch that sent Zac flying off the bike about eight feet landing on his back fracturing his sacrum on impact. After 3 hours and the two amazing teams from Fire House 5 and 9 in Colorado Springs they were able to carry him out and get him to the ER. The Reason we are starting this Go Fund Me is because Zac got Married on January 1, 2019. And the insurance still has not kicked in. So we have an overnight stay in the hospital, an Ambulance ride, MRI,CT, and Xray bills. We are using a lot of our money that we received from our wedding as gifts to pay for the bills, but we are still a bit short, hence the 3,500. ask. Give if you want to, if not spread the word. Or give to support your local search and Rescue.  The Hospital said billing wouldnt kick in until 30 days. any help is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
